Remedial, Sports, Pregnancy and Myofascial Release
Massage therapists work on your muscles using their hands, forearms or even their elbows to get to those hard to reach places. Massage can help relieve tension, get rid of pressure points, break down scar and help keep the body in proper alignment, balance and function.
Clare works at the practice all day on a Tuesday- she enjoys seeing a variety of people. Although we say it's sports massage you don't have to be a sportsman or women to benefit from this type of massage.
The modern world provides us with plenty of stress on a daily basis. She will want to find out where the tension has built up and then suggest which techniques will help you the most and give you the best results. Having regular massages may help you combat those aches and pains, improve your posture and better manage your stress.
All forms of massage work incredibly well alongside chiropractic care. However you do not need to be receiving chiropractic care to experience the wonders of massage.
Appointments can be made by calling 01892 543878 or booking online.

What to expect
You will need to fill out a brief but detailed questionnaire so that our massage therapist can fully understand how they can best help you. Your massage therapist will go through he questionnaire with you, discussing your reasons for seeking massage therapy, what you want to achieve and the best way to reach your goals.
Your first massage consultation will be for an hour. This gives the therapist plenty of time to take a history, perform an assessment and the massage. Regular follow up massages last 30 or 45 minutes, dependant on your needs. Your therapist will make recommendations for further care if it is required.
